return to running

After nearly 2 weeks off from running, bar the Last Minute Tri, i acheived a total of 4.2 miles tonight, not brillaint but it did show up the weakness in my knee is still there so another week or so of gentle runs.
I have ordered a turbo for the bike so this should keep me occupied for the next few weeks - still got to do some aerobic training as the rutland mara is looming ever closer and even if i cant do the long runs i should at least get some base training in for the Outlaw.

On the plus side i have got 8 swimming session done in the last 11 days and today was my first day with a pull buoy - didnt really find it too much different so maybe my body doesnt drag as much as i thought. I will have a look on youtube for some swim sets to do and report back if the pullbuoy makes any difference after a few weeks.
